Therapy & Counseling from a Licensed Therapist, on Your time.

Meet your therapists

Lindsey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and is Trauma Certified. She will work with you in identifying your areas of concern and desired goals. Lindsey has a style of “meeting you where you’re at”, in order to respect taking therapy at your own pace, while finding supportive ways to challenge you to work towards your ideal therapeutic outcomes.

With a 7 year history in the field, Lindsey has worked in one of the largest agency’s in New York City, as well as enjoyed working at a boutique mental health clinic here in AZ before opening her private practice.

Lindsey’s passion includes working with young women, couples and families. While she uses various modalities, she finds the most success in using EFT and Gottman with couples, as well as DBT and CBT for her individual clients.

Saige is a licensed associate counselor (LAC) who has her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Argosy University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Saige has 13 years experience providing case management and counseling services to adults and adolescents within the general population and the severely mentally ill population.

Saige’s therapeutic approach is eclectic in efforts to cater to each of her client’s needs. She finds DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing to be the most effective approaches when working with clients. Mental illness is Saige’s area of specialty. She will assist you in diagnosis, treatment planning, and better understanding your symptoms. Saige prefers a gentler approach, and likes to focus on building her client's confidence and values collaboratively. She is passionate about supporting growth in terms of self-worth, confidence, and esteem. Saige finds purpose in her work by watching clients find happiness through their growth.

In her free time, Saige enjoys spending time with her husband and watching their four sons participate in various sports leagues. She also enjoys volunteering in her children’s local schools on a regular basis.

Our Counseling Areas of Expertise

Women’s Matters - Embrace therapy has a passion for supporting the women in our community! As women, we face unique pressures that lead to comparing our lives to others, self criticism, putting everyone else first, and not prioritizing ourselves… but guess what, you’re allowed to prioritize YOU! Our negative thoughts can be due to the high expectations we, or those close to us, place on us.. or maybe due to childhood impacts. If you are needing a safe space to discuss your unique challenges, this your place to do so. We can dive into your particular strengths and struggles on a deeper level, building confidence and self esteem, and getting you to a mental space where you feel more at peace with what takes place inside your mind so you can start putting yourself first. Sounds selfish? This will allow you to be happier for yourself, AND those around you! Taking care of ourselves benefits everyone.

Young adulthood - Embrace Therapy thrives on supporting our young adult women! Ages 18-30’s are supported through this unique phase of life, where we can explore the uncertainty that comes with figuring out who you are, who you want to be, and where your life is taking you. Emerging adults face their own pressures, to have it “all figured out” or “keeping up” with the accomplishments of our peers. This is a space to normalize where you are at in life, and explore your goals (mentally, emotionally, socially, career, family, etc). You get to be whoever you want to be… we can help you figure out how!

Marriage Counseling & Family Counseling - Taking an EFT (emotionally focused therapy) approach, Embrace helps to get in touch with the root emotions that may be creating barriers in recurring conflict. Let’s shift from assumptions and arguments to checking in with each others feelings and needs. We all build walls and learn certain communication styles from life experience, but we aren’t born with these traits. We can take a look together at what negative patterns may be existing for you, and how to undue them so it’s not impacting your partnership. Embrace Therapy is passionate about the potential of relationships, creating stronger communication so you and your partner feel empowered to communicate and meet each others needs. Getting into a negative cycle is so common, but important to undue… for yourself, your partner, and the relationship!

Please reach out for communication barriers, infidelity, difficulty with intimacy and closeness, parenting barriers, unconventional relationship matters, etc. Let’s see if we can be a good team to get your relationship where you want it to be!

Family Conflict - Family can be our biggest support, or our biggest stressor. Family therapy can help you and your loved ones to figure out healthy boundaries, stronger communication, and how to appreciate one another rather than push against each other. We find family therapy to be a useful way to set aside 50 minutes a week to prioritize one another, as life gets busy, and family dynamics can shift. All individuals goals are considered in family therapy, this is about your unit as a whole!

LGBTQ+ Matters - Embrace Therapy values our LGBTQ+ community! This is a safe space for those in the community, and allies, to explore the unique impacts of being a part of this population. Whether that’s the challenges that come with diversity, family and relational barriers, or just a safe space for you to explore your mental health, please reach out! We would be honored to serve you and your mental health needs!

Trauma Therapy - Being trauma certified, we explore your unique trauma experiences, and decide collaboratively what area would be the most beneficial to dive deeper into. Trauma does not always mean PTSD, but it can. If you have an experience that is putting you on edge, increasing anxiety, leading to hyper vigilance or avoidant behaviors, we can support. We will dive into your personal story and help you learn how to manage your sympathetic nervous system through body-relaxation based skills. Remember, this is your experience, and your pace. “Pushing” through trauma therapy is not our take. We are here to help challenge you, while respecting your limits!

General Mental Health - While we have areas of speciality, all are welcome! We support with anxiety, depression, bi polar, phase of life changes, confidence barriers, etc. Please reach out to see if we can be a good fit for your unique needs.
